Boomkat's review of "Powerflex":
"The highly influential Olde English Spelling Bee label return with a prime piece of electro-pop from Bristol's Katapulto. Everything about it is so very, very right, but oh so wrong in the finest sense, nailing the templates of classic freestyle-pop, EBM and late '80s digital funk, but with a much more wayward taste for off-kilter hooks and instrumental dynamics. It's kinda like a brighter, ostensibly straighter adjunct to Autre Ne Veut, whom OESB introduced to the world back in 2010, but swap ANVC's falsetto for John Maus-like baritone, and factor in loads of sleek, synthetic space and you come up with stone cold gems such as 'Hard Bodies', the emo sci-fi electro brilliance of 'Mars Mission', and the sckewed Sylvian & Sakamoto styles of 'Package Holidays'. Highly recommended!"
